Today’s lecture maths prof was hyper agn...:))

While describing sets…prof cited a simple yet interesting story…it goes like this:

(At an alcohol bar room at the 12th storey of a building)

Boy A: Due to the presence of whirlwind and hydraulic draft of the air, if you were to jump out of the window, the whirlwind and hydraulic draft will carry you around the air and bring you back into the room.

Boy B: Nonsense!! That’s impossible!!

Boy A: You don’t believe? I’ll show you.

(Boy A jumps out of the window and sure enough, he circled round the air and back into the room.)

(Boy B was amazed, his mouth wide opened.)

Boy B: That’s unbelievable!!

(Convinced, Boy B jumped out of the window.)

(Boy B plummeted straight downwards from 12th floor to the 1st floor and hit the ground face first.)

(The bartender looked at Boy A and shaked his head.)

Bartender: When you’re drunk, Superboy, you’re real mean.

I guess prof was trying to imply this:

When teaching anyone, we have to consider the learner’s learning ability instead of our own ability.

Only then will the learner benefit from the learning process.

I was planning to buy a tablet pc but oh well its a great feeling tat a dwg tablet is now mine!!!!:))

Ystrdy's crowd at Comex IT Fair isn't tat bad...still walkable, hehes :))

A lady was serving me the dwg tablet n i kp questioning her as if she's my student..haiz...can't break away from teacher role...wake up pls wake up....

She even asked if i can treat her dinner!!! dots...my friends kp teasing me after tat...

I jus feel that my relationship with jf is growing stronger by each day.....even though we've been pretty engrossed in our own work....:)

Suddenly i realised that relationships are like sand in your palm...

While busy dealing with school things, my life seems to become more dull. Some facts of life become clearer to me.

Firstly, a 2-digit number refers to for example 10, 22, 33..

let the 2-digit numbers be xy.

There is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody’s job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I think Everybody should like and help Everybody.

Today maths lecturer veri enthu..~~

He kept pretending to be van hiele~~and kept saying "nonsense"!!! I think throughout the lecture, he said that word at least 20 times lol hehe =))

Then the visualiser beside him keep popping up and popping down while he’s teaching without warning lol~~the sound “Eeeeeeee” up thn “Eeeeeeee” down made by the visualiser made us giggle…~~hahas..:))

Blogging time is getting tighter for me le these daes~~~

Aniwaes…sat’s trip to ikea, courts and giant in tampines covered almost 5 hrs..hmmm~~~

Dun b mistaken…I din go there to buy furniture or electronics for house or wat…~~

Still long way to go lols~~hehe..marry thn buy~~~aiyo…out of point le...

Aniwaes agn..tat trip
required me to literally ‘work’ for my food lolls…~~~

I had to first hunt for a movable trolley..~~
Once I noticed a mother pushing her trolley away from the queuing area, I immediately followed her~~dots…felt as if im stalking her~~~dots……wrong info…

Aniwaes I was merely jus after the trolley (I mean getting the trolley, I was never in love with the trolley…to make clear)…. the lady was wary of me lolls…along the way to her table….~~~aiyah~~no care her la…aniwaes, it took quite a long distance walk before she reached her table~~I was panting le lolls…so far…~~

She immediately took all the plates off the trolley~~carrying plates to her table while glancing towards me..i quickly place my hand on the trolley and she somehow realized that I wasn’t after her (LOLs OF COURSE I WAS AFTER THE TROLLEY)…..

When the trolley was ready for me to take, I thanked her~~social politeness and she smiled back~~Whosss make my day!:))

Aniwes I quickly worked my way to the queuing area…there I had to queue n wait up to 20 mins!!! +_+

Different stations present…first take spoon fork etc, thn drinks…thn desert….thn main course…thn appetizer
….thn pay up….thn ice, thn pour drink….all self service...+_+ i tot im part of a factory lolls..or feels like im a prisoner collecting food lolls -_-

Back at table…

I told jf nxt time her turn to ‘work’ for food le…muz show gender equality…but she say muz show gentlemanship~~~~dots……~_~

Aniwaes…the food was damn nice~~=))

The chicken, ikea’s “zao pai cai” was super nice=))

Too bad we cant eat the second “zao pai cai” Swedish meatballs as the dish is mainly beef meat (Buddhist followers cannot eat beef)….haizs…

But whn it comes to soup n main course, Ooooo superb!:))

O.o no time to blog~~These few days hav been mugging, researching, typing, analyzing…Lazi to describe~~:)

Aniwaes````Sat (15 Aug 09) planned to watch The Orphan de but due to some issues, we had to rewatch UP agn which I din regret=) Its worth rewatching, especially with someone u love.~~~ahh…:)~~fallen for you~~~…

Fresh feelings or rather same laughing genes stirred me up agn during familiar parts such as “Spit it out!”, “Good afternoon, I am Russell. I belong to….I can help u cross the road? I can help u cross ur yard?....I need assisting the elderly badge!”, “Gawk! Gawk! Roar!”, “But it’s a talking dog!”, “Hi there! I love u. Can u be my master?...Oh Squirrel!...Oh pls, oh pls, oh pls, can u be my prisoner?”.~~

But the scene that left everlasting impression is the married life montage where u have the scene of the balloons suddenly popped into many babies and the scene where u have the everlasting phrase “Cross my heart……” and the scene when Ellie died>>> all reali stirred up emotions in jf…i tell her i nxt time cross my heart to her oso:))))))))))))))))))))))

Her eyes are like ultra glued to the screen lol at that scene~~dots````_````
To our surprise there’s a big balloon UP house jus at Lido gathering area!:) we took a few shots:) Me and her etc….thn eh emm I chose this pic to put up only hehes~~

Woo..I still remember the show “Mythbusters” testing out the myth of 3000 balloons lifting up a 5 yr old child which in the end turned out to be “busted” as they took the whole day to blow up almost 9000 balloons jus to lift up a 5 yr old child by 5cm off the ground~~~lol let alone a house 5000 times heavier..~~dots +_+

Walking out of Lido, we saw Orchard ion~~The building was majestic!:) agn we took lots of photos `~ehh the best below hehe~~ :)))))

Todae’s the dae whn the real NIE heavy workload starts creeping in~~starting with the maths schedule-_- 10mins class sharing-_- 14 pages lesson plans each of the 6 micro lessons-_- group presentation periods up to 40 mins-_- group assignments-_- to top it up..all due within nxt 2 mths =X Super workload finally reveal itself~~~~n its only 30% of the total expected as Dnt has yet to set in~~~Aiya still daydreaming =xxxx Wana watch wat ghostly shows Haiz..``````

As I look back at last week’s sleepless nights bcos of sme issues (don’t wana tok abt it) and foresee tat I will bcme a zombie with panda eyes bcos of overstress, I begin to wonder if a good sleep can be deliberately done~~dots I found lots of helpful ‘factual’ tips at this website~~

Ghost festival is around the corner! I darn scare to do many things lohss.
I dare not bath at night, but no choice=X
I dare not sleep alone, also no choice=X
I dare not take lift alone at around 2am onwards, luckily normally at home le.
I dare not look behind while I'm walking home at night around 11pm, aiya still have to look out for cars.
I dare not look at mirrors around 2:22am or 3:33am. Sometimes still awake at that time dots~~.
I dare not open my cupboard at ard 2am, because later got things inside.

Okay, whatever, but if ask around, pple will say that I'm brave de. Cos y?
